arflex by Siltec

Paris, press day for presentation of arflex's novelties.

In the centre of Paris, at the showroom arflex by siltec in rue de Miromesnil 53, the new arflex collection was presented to the press.

The showroom with large windows allows to the products to have a light and color game with a contrast between hot and cold tones.

The presented models include a modular system (and its accessories) inspired by the classic geometry of the arch, designed by Jaime Hayon.

These models confirm the trend 2017 with lacquered wood, a lot of colour and where the detail becomes the decorative element.

Always designed by the architect, we have the armchair Leafo, an interaction between lightness and softness.

There is also Cradle, the armchair designed by Neri&Hu, that is modeled both by the rich tradition of the Italian design, well known for its sculptural and intrepid shapes, and by modernist feeling, combined with inevitable vintage pieces, that continue to seduce and confirm that they are evergreen in arflex history.

The presentation was enriched by the presence of Bernhardt&Vella, who design modular systems and accessories for arflex. They explained the very last projects of the bookcase Alba, the lamp Papillon and the screens Vela, that use the expressive power of the coloured glass to create bright and mirrored effects. They are pieces of elemental geometry and strong sculptural impact.
